Yep...The Bowtech GENERALS string stop was obviously a last minute idea.
Its a piece of crap. The rubber lays within a horse-shoe shaped frame. 2 little rubber prongs are all that keep it from popping out. THEY DONT WORK.
After some shooting, the rubber starts to get really beat up, then youll notice that the rubber begins to pop out while shooting. Eventually the rubber prongs break and you will have to glue the rubber stopper into the frame.
That doesnt help much, and it just dries out the rubber faster.
If you own a General, this will be an on-going issue that you'll have to get used too, but its a minor problem.
Definetly surprised that bowtech would market the bow like this.
I am not the only one with this issue. My friend at our local bow shop said that just about everyone that bought a General has had this issue. They are replacing our stops for free.
I have the same problem with my Marquis.
