I think after 3.5 it is a guesstimation at most! It's not that hard to age them on the hoof at 1.5, 2.5 up to 3.5 but after that, it's tough without tooth extractions.
Very true. The only way that i can for sure know after 3.5 is if i have watched the buck grow up from 1.5 or 2.5...
So maybe these guys are doing just that ....... watching these same bucks sice they were 1.5 years old ....you all have seen what I am talking about tho ..... where they will say ..... here comes a nice 4 1/2 ...we'll let him grow ...etc .... or they will say, "Look at this 5 1/2 coming ......
maybe I'll just stop watching most of these shows ....
