Not shooting the deer is not going to save them, but cutting the season in half for muzzle loader and archery would.
WHAT A BONEHEADED STATEMENT TO MAKE!

If the goal was to reduce the kill, it'd be the doe tag allocation that would be dropped first.

It's an undisputed fact that archery and muzzleloader hunters harvest less deer percapita than the rifle hunters despite their longer seasons.

The only reason to make a statement like that isto try and divide hunters. PETA would be proud of you.[:'(]
