Forget those loop pliers. You can't tie a loop small enough if you use those things.

Brownell loop material. Toward the bottom of the page. Use the .78 diameter in what ever color you prefer or your shop has. It is the perfect size for making loops and is very durable, wear resistant and will cinch down very tight. Use a pair of slender needle nose pliers to get the loop tight. Jujst slip them between a finished loop and the string and open the pliers to tighten the loop.

Make sure that you have good melted balls on the ends of your loops and DO NOT smash the balls andflatten them out. All you are doing whend you flatten themelted balls is weakening them and making the loop more prone topull thru.


IF you have a release with very tight jaw gap like a Scott sabertoothor use one of the hook type of release heads like the short and sweet or silverhorn then use the low creep material that is made from 100% HMPE. But you must have tight tolerances in your jaws or a hook type of release. This stuffis durablelike steel, is incredibly flexible, incredibly strong, and very very slick. You can get a very clean release with the low creep material.
