I like Mathews bows and know a couple people that work for Mathews buiding their bows in Sparta Wi. But when I purchase a bow, im interested more in the warranty. And to be truthful, Mathews warranty just doesnt compete with other manufacturers warranties. Heres the proof right from Steve Flock himself:

Sure they may strive to build the highest quality bow out there, but dont all manufactures strive for that. Come on . Im not bashing mathews in anyway, they do build some nice bows, but I like to know my bow is covered and covered well. Thats like buying a brand new car without a warranty, would you buy one knowing theres nothign to back it up if something goes wrong?
