I'm sitting at work reading CNN.com for the latest happenings and stumbled upon this article.

What caught my eye was this statement though.
The
Humane Society of the United States and
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wanted the dogs
euthanized. But rescue operations won their fight to give these animals a second chance at life.
Maybe PETA is coming around?
