The .223 will do that for ya. The .22-250 will do it farther,and then there is the .220swift.I like the swift out of all the .22's,since I reload ammo is no problem.And there is still plenty of factory ammo out there.In a 22-250 savage 12 varmint is as good as it gets.I had one for a while then I got a ruger M77 MKII target in a .220 swift and just fell for the swift.
