My arrows are measured by shaft length only.
Mine too and I cut an equal amount from BOTH ends of the shaft.
I will typically do that also. The only time I don't is if one end has some wobble when I spin the shaft. Then I will cut more from that end. With the Carbon Tech arrows I haven't had that problem though
