RE: End Compound Bow Use Before The Rut
I don' t think that calling this guy names does anyone any good. He obviously has not spent a lot of time with archery equipment and is most likely basing his views on hearsay.
With that being said, I have a challenge for Mr. Coles if you are out there. Get yourself a compound, recurve, and a shotgun with slugs. Practice so you are proficient with each. Then we will go out into the wood and set up some realistic hunting scenarios and let you shoot at some deer targets. After realize that in most situations your effective hunting range even with the " best" compound is limited to under 30 yards, you may want to rethink your remarks.
