Here's a random thought.....

When travelling down the road, if you stick your head out the window, the wind hits you in the face. Remembering that, the earth rotates from West to East (thus the sunrise in the East). Therefore, the prevailing winds should be out of the East. But the prevailing winds are out of the West. Why?
