I'm looking at a .44mag and one is the 29-10, and the other the 629.
Other than the obvious (grips mostly, 6.5" barrel) what are the differences?
S&W guns with the "6" prefix on the model number, such as "629", etc., are made from stainless steel........... IF you found a plain Model 29 that is made of stanless, it may be mis-marked. If mismarked, it might have collector interest.
