Im pretty sure the only way to spread lime with either one, is to buy the pelletized. The bulk ag lime will pack together and wont feed out of either one, pelletized lime is a lot more expensive. Ive been dealing with the same problem, I need 5 tons per acre in a couple of my plots but couldnt get a truck there, so I was adding about a ton a year with the pelletized and couldnt even tell I was putting it on, but we've been select cutting it fora year now, and I had the loggers use my plots for their loadout landings, and now the lime trucks are coming, as soon as they get to me, Im an a month long waiting list.
