Quilly, I asure you that the gun shop that mounted your original scope didn' t use RED 262 Loc-tite.Trust me if they did you would never have gotten it off.Small screws using the Blue are a bear to get out at times.I use both the Red and Blue at work.Once the Red sets up it' s almost impossible to remove without putting heat to the parts assembled.At one time the Loc-tite 242 blue said if used on under 1/4" screws it become perminent. It might still say it and I haven' t noticed.
