I just got the offical score sheet back from P&Y and found out that there was a mathimatical error. The scorer accidentally duplicated the side to side difference between the g-1s for the g-2s. The g-2s were only 2/8 diff and he marked 1 6/8, therefore deducting an extra 1 4/8. Luckily someone at P&Y checks this stuff. They made the correction and gave me the correct score. No change in the gross but the net went from 156 1/8 to 157 5/8.
I normally don't get too excited about this but this has happened on 3 out of 8 so far. I'm afraid to check over the rest of them. I'll admit that I should have caught it, but when I checked it, I only added the columns then did the math. I did not check the side to side deductions. [&o]
On another one, the guy gave my buck a smaller outside spread than the inside spread. I didn't check that either because that measurement is not included in the score (outside spread). Well, the P&Y guys did and they swapped the two numbers around and shorted my buck by over 2 inches. I never did anything about it.
On the 3rd one, the guy shorted one tine by an inch then gave the next tine an extra inch!

I figured that it all worked out in the end.
These were 3 different measurers! I guess all I can say is that you should go over the entire score sheet before the guy leaves. Who knows...... you still may miss something! [:-]
Has anybody had this happen to them?
