I use the pre cut loop material sold by Allen. It's great stuff, very thick and will hold it's form, plus it will cinch up like nobody's business!
You can find it at most pro shops and big box retailers as well.
I don't know if you guys are talking about the Allen string loops when you're talking about the "camo" loops or not.
I can tell you for sure....without a doubt, this stuff is the real deal. No stretch, very sturdy material and will cinch up tighter than aPython on a Guinea pig.
