I use a Bushnell Sportview Red dot on my Remington. My problem was that my gun hit high to the right. The scope corrected that problem. I also use my gun for Deer therefore I need to reach further than 40 yards with accuracy. About the battery problems, I carry a spare with my equipment and easily changes.

I also can do what others say is nearly impossible, I shoot target clays with the scope, just took some getting used to .
