If my business plan doesn't agree with your ideas of what you want I'm all of a sudden lazy? If you're business plan is so great then by all means, put it into practice. It's a simple cost benefit analysis and if the benefits (increased income, more friends, good times, job satisfaction) don't outweigh the costs (expenses, paperwork, reduced free time, increased labor, increased stress) it ain't going to fly. It's that simple. I don't have an archery shop because I like to hunt and enjoy vacationing now and then. Does that make me lazy as well?
