Default RE: If you owned a shop........

Owning your own business takes dedication to it .... period. Most people want to do what they want to do and aren't willing to sacrifice to make things go .... that's why most small businesses fail ... not for bad ideas, but for lack of character and love for what your doing .... as far as family, involve them in it ......
It is probably more about the love than anything. It doesn't take a scientist to realize when something isn't worth the time and hassle invested. Plain and simple....you are not going to get rich opening a range. If have have an archery range....it is because you love doing it. I enjoy shooting archery, but I can think of 100 other things I could do to make more money Am I lazy? No, just smart. It is a dog eat dog world...and I don't work for free......................just ask yourself, what is your time worth?

Most leagues in my area just get by. By they time they pay for rent, targets, bills, etc....they have just enough money to keep the doors open...and all work is volunteer.
