I haven't read all of the repiles.
For the record..I haven't ownen my own business. YET
But for sake of argument. My best friend does. He owns a heating and air company. My ex also does. She runs her family's hospice company. Both companies are very successfulas far as income, but both have takenmajor tollson family, friends, and relationships. My best friend has even talked ofgetting out of the business. The only reason he hasn't is b/c he knows that it would break his father's heart because his fatherfounded the company from a pile of dirt.
Running your own business takes A LOT out on a person. Esp. if you are trying to juggle the business and time for your family, friends, and your own hobbies other than the business.
You have a great point, but if I had to answeryour question for most shop owners itwouldprobably be because of time, money, and liability.
