WOW BT thats wild, sounds like that buck had a rough road, and to survive it, WOW. my buddy has a pet doe, she came down with it and was on her death bed, he was going to put her down but his wife would not let him, she laid in a water trough and eventually bounced back but never fully regained all her weight.

Thats a real shame. We had a bad EHD outbreak in SW PA.
My buck actually turned out to be an EHD victim that survived. He was 75-80 pounds lighter than he should have been.Every bone in his body showed through his hide. I shot him on Jan 11 and he was starting to recover but I dont think he'd have made the winter. 4 1/2 years old scored 120 6/8 with two broken tines
