I think Weatherby's are definately worth the extra. You can find a lot of big rifle dealers through out the US and Canada that sell Weatherby's 10% over cost. That figures out to about 1,200 for a new Mark V Deluxe. If you check gunsamerica.com and other online firearms places you can get new-in-box Weatherby's even cheaper.
