I have owned two, a 257 and a 300.Accuracy was good with the 257(just under 1"
but not with the 300(between 1-1/4 and 1-1/2"
so I sold the 300.I used the 257 for several years and sold it a few years ago.The trigger was no better than a 700 and workmanship was pretty good.I have had no problem getting accuracy as good or better with much cheaper factory 700's and would never pay the extra money for a weatherby.
