I got an Undertaker tube for my old syle BPS last year. It patterned best with 3" Hi. vel. Winchester #6' s. I tried it with 3" Win #4' s as well. I' d get 30 -35 #6' s into the head/neck and about 20 #4' s. So, today I took it out to try with 2 3/4" #4' s and #6' s, both Winchesters again. I had some around to fit in my old turkey gun. To my surprise they shot just as well as the 3" shells. I got about 20 #4 hits where it counts and about 30 #6' s. The shells were a lot less punishing than the 3" . It' s nice to find out that bigger isn' t necessarily better.
