I have all the respect in the world for hunters using traditional equipment, but at the same time I have just as much respect for those who use compounds. Its an individual choice on using a weapon, and it takes as much knowledge to hunt with either. It also takes maturity and intelligence to decide what weapon is best for us, and I choose to use the weapon I am more proficient with.

As you can see with this article, there will always be those who place their egos and immaturity first. Perhaps this guy is jealous of someone he knows using a compound to take a big buck he was hunting. I suspect personal motives was behind his immature thinking and poor reasoning was behind his comments.
