Iuse the same set up for 3D as I do for hunting. I'm out there to practice for hunting and learn my equipment.
That is the exact reason I do it as well, keeps a guy in shape too!

If there was a 'real' bowhunting 3D category that required use of broadheads, gloves and face masks, I would shoot it. You can bet the beer money that many of the bows used in the bowhunting class have never seen a treestand.
There's allot of cheating going on at these shoots also, its all about being #1 on the board!!
