Default RE: What's wrong with this way of thinking?

I believe having the same pins represent differing yardages for 3D and hunting could create some mental interference or negative habit transfer (for me). I would hate to shoot at a 30 yard, real live whitetail with my 25 yard 3D pin.

I have always used the same set-up (arrow, bow etc). For me personally, the dominant reason toshoot 3D is to become a better hunter. By swapping between set-up's to gain an advantage in 3D, I would loose some benefit from shooting my hunting set-up year round.

If there was a 'real' bowhunting 3D category that required use of broadheads, gloves and face masks, I would shoot it. You can bet the beer money that many of the bows used in the bowhunting class have never seen a treestand.
