RE: CVA Kodiak Users
This was my first ML and I like it very much. It was very accurate right out of the box, and I can honestly say that it has shot everything I have fed it as good as the guy behind the sights can manage. I have shot a few different conicals, several different sabot combinations, both 777 and RS loose powder and 777 pellets through it with about equal success. I had an issue for a while with crud rings from 777 this summer, but late fall and winter the problem went away.
Beyond that, my only knock on this model is the trigger. The trigger on my 870 shotgun is smoother than the one on the Kodiak. Luckily, CVA will adjust triggers as part of their lifetime warranty. Mine will be headed their way this spring for some tuning. That said, even with the bad trigger and me behind the trigger, this gun still produces 1" groups @ 100 yds. when I do my part.
