My son's Apex is more or less the same gun, hishas a camo stock with SS barrel. The gun seems very reliable and shoots several loads under 2" at 100+ yards. The only thing thats a bit of a concern for some is the need for extra high rings if your scope has an occular lens on the larger side, this is needed to allow enough room to cock the hammer back, of course my fingers a on the large side so that may be part of the problem. Here are some loads that work in his gun.

130gr pellets and a 250gr Shockwave 2100fps
100gr Pyro P and a 285gr Barnes 1780fps
90gr Pyro P and a 460 Bull Shop conical 1480fps

I'm sure there are others but I don't have my notes with me. Good luck with it.
