I agree with you totally but the average archer isn't going 2 look into as we do. All i did was 2 post what bk wrote in general . I did shot the general w/ speed cam and the guardian.yest. again, I didnt like the generals drawand would push an archer more 2 the guardian. I'am not a speed freak I like the less shot shock of the guardian. I know Iam not comparing apples to apples. I am stating the simple things that the average or new archer is looking for. Iam not looking for a pissing match. Iam surprized as my bowtech dealer was when i showed hin the e-mails that the bowtech corp. staff would not be happy that a 20 plus yr hoyt man likes and promotes bowtech. And couldn't realize what i was trying say, remember i was only answering a simple post.as a side note the person i took with me was a 15yr PSE shooter who was looking for a new bow,i pushed him 2 the guardian. He went home with it. Next time when i post something Ill cover all the tech. sides. or apples to apples LOLAs for me i don't know if ill buya bowtech after dealing with the corp. staff. they seem alittlestressed. I still love the bows great shooting off to the range L8R.
The comparisons you make make no sense. Its like comparing a 10 guage semi auto shotgun to a .20 guage over/under. Sure they will both kill a goose but one is designed for it specifically. Comparing a low brace speed bow to a short axeled high brace bow merely points out some lack of knowledge regarding equipment design and its intented uses. Why do you think each bow company makes several different models? To satisfy a specific style/need in hunting or shooting. You could in theory play a round of golf with only a 7 iron but there are better tools. As for Bill Krenz and his bow tests, I find they are a joke and waste of ink that are only influenced by advertising dollars and have very little useful information. As for the corp staff who contribute here I have never heard them bash any brand and in fact have read some surprisingly quite candid reviews good or bad of their own products.
