Good post.....very broad but a great post that needs addressing for sure...In my mind safety should come to our minds first even before we take to the woods,from proper handling of your firearm in travel to the do's and donts of a proper safe set-up.The NWTF does a very good job of helping turkey hunters of all experience prepare and help be aware of understanding the safety issues in the field and out, in our realm of turkey hunting....With the evolution of turkeyguns,loads,and realism of modern decoys,especially decoys such as B-mobile a strutting tom (in public woods)certainly one can see the distinct possibilty of someone getting hurt.I really like the NWTF's code of conduct and have had that card for some 25 years...
