RE: PSE Stinger
I bought this bow the beginning of December and am happy with it. Took my first deer with it 2 weeks ago.
I cannot compare this bow to the top of the line models of today as it is the 2nd bow I've owned. The first being a Bear Whitetail II about 9 years ago. I was on a limited budget and got a package deal for $550. I don't know how quiet most bows are today but I think this one is pretty quiet. I can use one pin from 10-30 yds on the ground(going to 15/30 pins this year), and it draws smooth. At 62#'s it IBO'ed at 251 with 408gr arrows at 29 1/2 draw. I've since bumped it up to 70#'s but have not speed tested it. Overall I am completely satisfied and would do it again even without the budget. I don't 3-D shoot and it put meat in the freezer, that's all I need. I'm not telling you to buy the bow, but I would say not to pass it up by the pricing alone. If you have a chance to shoot one do it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
On a side note, I have a thread on here when a friend pulled it back. I had the release on the string and when he let down it slid down and walked the string off the cam. Didn't bend any axles or tweak anything in the slightest, so I can atleastattest thatthey are not put together with the cheapest quality parts.
