I have been pricing out new bows..happy with mine, but ya gotta look. I spent @ $800 on my complete set up 3 yrs ago..I've shot deer with it no problem and I can group shot to my liking. I just cant believe the price tags on the new stuff. I've seen hoyt, matthews, ect...BOWS ONLYfor $700-$900. (Sticker shock I guess). Is there really that much more technology and REALcost going into these bows, or are the prices up there because of the increasing popularity of the sport and these companies taking advantage of it?...Maybe i am frugal (or cheap) but how does a guy stay current with the equipment these days???
