Hi, First off I would like to say I love my TC hawken rifle it is a blast to shoot from the bench,. very accurate with my newly purchased Green Mountain Barrel. only problem I have with it is when I am hunting I shoot over the top of everything. and thats because I'm not getting my head down on the stock when I get ready to shoot. What I would like to do is find a new stock with a comb drop of somthing like the Lyman plains rifle. I could take all the hardware off my TC hawken and install on the new stock. Only thing, is my lack of skills when it comes to the fitting of all the hardware. ( I can use a screw driver but thats about it ) I would need to have it pre cut and fitted for everything even the trigger reach and Hawken style butt plate . who does this ? I think I could handle the stain and varnishing all by myself. Thanks for the help. Steve
