The Axis is a great arrow and worth the price, IMO. Epic and Excel arrows are larger in diameter and don't seem to be as tough as the Axis - but they still shoot plenty good enough for 90% of the bowhunters out there. You might look on the AT classifieds - there were several sources on there selling the 2007 Axis ST's for a real good price.
