My favorite pistol is my Smith & Wesson 41 Mag, Classic Hunter. I've owned every pistol from the 44 mag on down and nothing works as well for me as the .41. It's not about muzzle energy. It about being able to deliver the goods on target consistently out to ridiculous pistol ranges.

My favorite all time rifle would have to be a Winchester Model 43, chambered for 22 K Hornet. This little devil probably killed more varmints for me than anything I've ever used. Out to 200 yds, it was simply a death ray. On the rare occasions that I missed, this cartridge made so little noise that very often the varmints didn't realize they were being shot at and they stood around or ran very little. Hardly any survived my second try.
