I totally believe the story. The town I lived in last year was home to a flock of turkeys that nobody is allowed to hunt. They "terrorized" the neighborhood. I heard interviews with people that were attacked by them. Someone from work who lived on the other side of town where this happened had a nice shiney car all pecked up because a Tom saw his reflection and went nuts on it.
