Any quality one piece rod will work far better than your previous rods. Some people like a coated rod and claim that they will not damage your barrel. Mine is a one piece uncoated stainless and have never had a problem. I would highly recommend that whatever you buy, make sure that the handle has bearings that allow the rod to twist naturally as you push it through the rifling.
