With that in mind.. A bolt action is a very nice start.. Bolt actions are typically more accurate than auto's because you can saftlyhave a lighter trigger pull which helps toimprove accuracy. Depending on how much your wanting to spend a Good bolt action with a scope will probably cost around 700-800 new..

I would say a Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08 would be a great way to start..
