Just as a sidenote, I read Bill Krenz's "comparison" of the two bows in Bowhunt America. Something I think should be mentioned when comparing the performance difference listed for these two bows in his test......

Though the speed difference was fairly large keep in mind the General was tested with the factory shipped smooth mods. The optional speed mods would boost the General's numbers by about 10 fps. That would then put it within about 15 fps or so of the Katera but with a two+ inch larger brace height. That is pretty respectable all things considered.

Just something to think about.
