RE: Is your state's hunting better or worse then when you were a kid?
Here in S WV I started hunting deer in 1961 0r 62 and you had to travel a long way from where I lived to find deer and then they wasnt that many. But in the last few years the deer are everywhere you look. But in the 80's the areas that I hunted had more deer then now but as most stated most of the deer are on private land which is inaccessable to most hunters I live in Monroe County 85% farms and nearly all POSTED and when asked if they will give permission it is nearly always no way.
