Ihave talked to a friend of mine that has been shooting both for several weeks and he says he is shooting the 82 every bit as good as the 101.
I don't doubt they will shoot similar.
The short stop suppressor will help with the arm clearance issues, although most of those issues come from someone trying to stretch their draw or improper form

Short brace, bad form, draw too long.........all will definately cause the red skids..........never had it happen to me but I never shot a short brace height.........the 82nd didn't touch my arm and I was shooting it 2" too long on the draw as well.
