Default RE: H&R Handi Rifle vs Stevens Model 200

I have a .243 handi rifle and two Savage 110's in .30-.06(both pre accutrigger). I can't complain about any of them. My daughter can consistently shoot 3/4" groups with the handirifle. I cannot.I shoot better withmySavage (as opposed to my son's). Savage's reputation for accuracy is solid for good reason. For simplicity the break action single shot can't be beat. It is the sort of beast that a person could fabricate most any part needed if one had to--and do so without a milling machine.

Who will be shooting the thing? For youth, the hand rifles are a nice size. Add to that the fact that you can get several barrels for the same stock and action: Including shotguns, rifles, and muzzle loader; it becomes a versatile little unit.

If you already have a good selection of bolt actions, than the single shot break action might be a nice change up. It really comes down to personal preference.
