I have used a 30.30 boltsavage supersporter for my entier hunting career. We reload our own amo and it has amazing accuracy and little drop in range.I've sighted in at 200yds(decent distance in WI) for hunting the openings but have brought it in to 100yds since I have been hunting the hardwoods and pines more. It was my grandfathers gun and has great sentimental value but is also an outstanding weapon. I hunt whitetails with it and it has gone though small trees to get the job done (not on purposs!)It is an old gun and wellmade.
