Default RE: Who is the leader in bow technology right now?

Okay, here is a list of the "speed bows" for everybody... this is their IBO ratings

APA Black Mamba X1- 355 f.p.s.
APA Black Mamba X2- 342 f.p.s.
BowTech 82nd Airborne- 350 f.p.s.
BowTech 101st Airborne- 340 f.p.s.
Elite GTO- 350 f.p.s.
Elite Synergy XT- 340 f.p.s.
HCA Iron Mace Trinary- 340 f.p.s.
Martin FireCat- 345 f.p.s.
Martin Slayer Xtreme C.A.T.- 350 f.p.s.
PSE X-Force HF- 348 f.p.s.
PSE X-Force Dream- 340 f.p.s.
PSE X-Force7 HF- 340 f.p.s.

Thats all of the ones that broke the 340 f.p.s. mark. Thats a total of a dozen bows. Now, if I wanted to get really technical I could mention that the BowTechs are tested with the string silencers and a nock on the string. If you factore those in then the BowTech 82nd should be around 358 f.p.s. and the 101st at around 348 f.p.s. Also, measure the true draw lengths and draw weights and see what happens. I would be willing to bet that if the draw lengths were set to exactly a measured 30" and the draw weight set to exactly 70 pounds, most if not all the bows besides the BowTechs would be between 5-10 f.p.s. slower than there advertised IBO speed!
