You fail to see a lot of things, Art.
Namely, the technology to build a 5.5 gpi arrow, built to handle big-game hunting at +/- .001 straightness, that is stiffer than any other arrow on the market, thus eliminating energy loss due to shaftflexion upon release.Even at mind-warping speeds.
I must have missedthe newpaper clipping the last time somebody tried to market that "old" idea.
You are aware that a properly spined arrow, not just "stiffer than any other on the market", will give you a more forgiving/shootable setup. Right? But I guess if you make them stiff enough......spine consistency won't really matter.

Some "old ideas" are relegated to that status for a good reason.
