Default RE: H&R Handi Rifle vs Stevens Model 200

I don't think it is that nobody likes the Handi rifles. They are a great rifle at a decent price. It is just that for not much more money you can get a better design that holds more shells. If you really want the single shot H&R get one, there is nothing wrong with them. Every gun made has had accuracy issues at some point, they can't all be perfectly accurate. I have heard people be dissatisfied with every brand of gun at some point or another.

I will throw another analogy out there. Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn scopes are pretty decent scopes for the money. You don't hear too many people talk about what complete pieces of junk they are. Now if you could get a 3200 Elite for around the same amount of money wouldn't you do it? Now what if I told you you could one with more features for just a tad more money? While the Dusk to Dawn is a decent scope, it ain't no 3200.

I don't think any of us (well one us) is saying the H&R's are junk and to stay away from them, just for the same money or a bit more there are better options now.
