RE: 07 Small Game Contest Submissions and Standings
Seen 8 coyotes today while scouting. 4 of 'em this morning before noon, and 4 of 'em tonite in the dark while out doing some howling/checking spots for the AM hunt. I missed one of the ones today in the daylight, about a 300 yard running shot, I think I shaved hair on him 2 times. Buddy end up dumping the other one in the pair with my AR15. So, hopefully in the AM I can get a few to come running to the call. THe high is supposed to be -2 tomorrow, with a 5-10mph breeze and flurries throughout the day. It is a -15 tonite and the dogs are very vocal, breeding season is upon us!
