The way I read the change is that the percussion cap in lines will be legal in the so called "Traditional" seasons. I think they have had short range hunts in the south for a while. I understood that the short range hunt in unit 10a was just to appease the inliners, not from a real safety need for short range weapons. I can livewith that, so long as they allow any style percussion gun in the so called traditional season. Maybe we should ask for some trophy hunts here in the Clearwater region. I think they need to give up on the Traditional name tag and just call it muzzleloader season......... and if there is a demand for it have some short range seasons too.
