Dangerous yes, but if it's real thick it may not be to bad, we hunt some thick stuff here and a big problem we have is theelk seeing us before we see them,if you can open up that decoy quickly and with a few cow calls, then it mite buy you some time for a shot, but I would be very careful with the way you use it,DO NOT use it in a very open area though. I think it could be a very nice thing to have just be careful with it, and you are NOT a retar
