I think the over penetration is the cold and the water on the arrows. I kept them dry tonight and they just went through up about an inch.

Well, I narrowed the wild shooting down to the scope base. I corrected this and it is fine now. 2 arrows within an inch at 40 yards. . .not bad for off hand.Tonight all results were as expected which is a huge change for the better. Now I will try the broadheads again.

Also, I've damaged some fletching. . .so I'm going to get stuff I need to repair. I'm thinking Jo Jan mono fletcher, but any idea what vanes to use? Blazer's or 4" plastic? Also, helical or offset? Wrap or no wrap? How hard is wrap to put on the arrow?
